Why are all our favorite rappers getting locked up? What cracks me up is how sometimes I don't know until a shirt such as these pop up somewhere:





This second shirt was created by a really dope artist by the name of Demont Peekaso. He's based in the DMV area, but you may have seen him doing live art while on tour with Raheem DeVaughn (one of my favorite artists. Ever. Don't know why? Check out one of his shows!). RSVP

Anyone who's ever been to an event where you have to RSVP knows the drama and shenanigans which surround doing so. Sometimes you get rejected right off the bat...sometimes the list is closed by the time you find out about a dope event (bummer.) - but the worst is when you go to the spot to find out that the people at the door completely forego the list and let in whoever they want to let in. This is where "it's who you know" comes into play, and woe to you if you don't know anyone or don't know someone who knows someone...

Anyway, this shirt sums up our lives as RSVP'ers quite perfectly:

No, it's not just a song by Homeboy Sandman (who I'll be posting about soon). I love Snoop Dogg. Something about him...his luxurious locks? Maybe. His swag (for lack of a better word)? Probably. But he's dope. Plain and simple. Remember his first album? Classic.

I wonder if the latter constitutes as the type of clothing that would be considered as campaigning on Election Day? Remember folks: No pins, shirts, etc. making mention of any of the candidates are allowed at the polling locations - you WILL be TURNED AWAY!!!

It's Been a Long Time...

Miss me?

I can't believe I started this blog in July and I haven't posted since...but I haven't stopped gathering fodder for you guys! Every time I sit down to put together a folder of all the photos I want to put up on this here blog, I get sidetracked. My work is never done! I'm still compiling as of today...
